Renown Rail Welding are constantly expanding and looking for new talent to add to our professional and dedicated rail workforce. Requirements: This role would suit a junior (for example a school leaver), who is looking to expand on their skill set and experience. Previous experience in a similar role is not necessary as training will be available. This is a fantastic opportunity to start your career in Office Administration.
The right candidate should have excellent IT skills, good quality administration and numeracy skills. The right candidate should also have strong communication skills and the confidence to communicate with a variety of staff and stakeholders at different levels of seniority.
The Role: The Junior Office Assistant will report directly to the Commercial Manager at Renown’s head office in Cold Meece, Staffordshire. This role will involve closely supporting the Commercial Manager with a variety of work including organisation and maintaining records of: training courses; payroll; management of vehicles (including trackers/insurance/fines/damage/fuel cards); and adhoc tasks as and when required. The Junior Office Assistant will also undertake administration work for Renown’s national depots and have a separate focus on collation of work hours with regard to fatigue management. In addition, the Junior Office Assistant will provide holiday cover to include the processing of weekly timesheets and orders, together with payroll and invoicing as and when required.
