Renown require 4 x Rail Welding Assistants. Full Skills training is available. To apply, you must hold a current Rail Industry Personal Track Safety Certificate – PTS AC – DCCR; hold Track Induction qualification; hold the Industry Common Induction Card; and have a minimum 12 months of track work experience on the rail infrastructure.
Renown offer apprenticeships to aspiring rail industry workers to train as highly skilled Aluminothermic Assistant Rail Welders. Our state of the art training schools offer quality training on a variety of courses.
We invest heavily into our apprenticeship scheme, which has proven to produce highly skilled Renown rail welders, who have gone on to achieve long and successful careers with the Company.
Renown are looking to hire an Assistant Operations Administrator, to support the Junior Operations Administrator and team at our busy Tonypandy depot.
This role will suit a junior who is looking to learn the trade, and build their own skill set and experience.The ideal candidate will need to be organised,have good communication skills (both verbal and written), be a team player, and have good time keeping. Experience of using all Microsoft packages is essential.
Due to the nature of the job, the right candidate must be local to area or at an easily commutable distance (Ely Industrial Estate, Williamstown, Tonypandy, CF40 1RA).
Previous experience within the Rail industry is desirable but not essential.

Training opportunity for extra work on the Railway at weekends as an Assistant Welder/Oxy-Acetylene burning.
