Renown Rail Welding Tonypandy Depot are recruiting for a Rail Welding Depot Trainee. This job involves hands on depot work and office administration.
This job role involves depot maintenance, stock/plant maintenance, vans/fuel control and additional office duties. For example, duties will include: maintaining the premises in a pristine condition;waste removal;daily vehicle maintenance checks ensuring vehicle maintenance check sheets are completed for each vehicle and reporting all issues directly to the Renown Tonypandy depot Office Assistant; depot stores control and maintenance; controlling the hire plant at the depot; maintain hire plant records;being responsible for all goods in/goods out of the depot and maintaining the relevant spreadsheets/records.
Due to the nature of the role the right candidate should live locally to the depot, have a driving licence and good IT skills.
The depot is located at: Renown Rail South Wales, Ely Industrial Estate, Williamstown, Tonypandy, CF40 1RA.
Renown Railway Services are seeking to recruit a Health & Safety Advisor for our busy rail maintenance contract support division. This position would suit a newly qualified graduate with a Health & Safety background.
This role will be predominantly based at one of Renown’s national depots (Glasgow, Scotland; Long Sandall, Doncaster; Tonypandy, Wales; Faversham, Kent; Cold Meece, Staffordshire). In addition, regular travel to work sites and Renown’s other national depots will be required on a frequent basis. Therefore, candidates must have a full driving licence.
The right candidate must have excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate should have experience in safety audits, risk assessment, accident and incident investigation, training and competency assessment management and report preparation. However, further training will be available for continuous professional development.
40 hours a week
Normal working hours 8.00am – 4.30pm (with half an hour for lunch)

Renown require a competent Small Plant Fitter/Mechanic to join a busy Rail Welding Depot Team based in Doncaster.

Renown Rail Welding Doncaster require Experienced Rail Welding On Call Staff. This work wlll be covering night shifts, and can be full time or part time, but will include weekend night shifts. Full training given, competitive rates of pay, this position would suit an experienced senior aluminothermic rail welder.
