Renown Rail Welding earn welding training certification
Renown Rail Welding Training are thrilled to have achieved certification to CSWTO-1-02:2012 that allows us to provide a new range of training services. We now have three Master Welding instructors – Lee Howard, John Riley and David Lyall – in accordance with CSWIP-1-91.
The new certification allows us to offer training that covers manual metal arc, flux core and aluminothermic work.
Welding Training and Recruitment
The latest additions to our training curriculum allows us to deliver teaching that covers repair and resurfacing of train crossings, joining of conductor rails and repair of rail switch blades. Renown Rail Welding provide specialist, experienced welding teams that are able to tackle projects of any scale or size.

Renown Rail Welding have amassed a reputation for training and developing the skills of our staff. We achieved an “outstanding” mark for this in a recent audit. We train and assess our learners in areas covering aluminothermic welding, assistant welding, scrap burning and powered plant manual handling. These training programmes are available at our state-of-the-art training facilities in Doncaster.
